 Stitch/Spearmint

Okay, this post is gonna be a doozie. I hope someone has the patience to read it all!

First, my fandom takes place in a movie exclusive universe. It's not that I despise the series or people who like it, it's just that I'd prefer to write my stories based around it because I feel like that's a more fresh way to go.

First, let's talk about my entire fandom. Story time.
It starts before L&S's first movie. Jumba has a dream race he calls Turian. This race is what he hopes will be the new, as we'd look at it, future for the society. And since he was evil at that point..their soul purpose would really be to manipulate everyone into serving him. Of course this ended as he made Experiment 626, who was just his first attempt at this species, and was arrested. When he crashed on Earth and all of that happened, he gave up on whatever potential dream he had until he created Spearmint. He rediscovered the rush of energy and excitement he got from creating things, and soon his dream was restarted, not for the evil purpose, just for creating.

So among these new creatures he made, he made Mark, Lita who was designed to be his personal therapist, and Habbitrale, his little mechanic. (Who IS in fact based on the character in Stitch: 626, but they're different) Habbitrale was created to be smarter than Jumba, meaning that he would be able to fix things easily, brainstorm, correct his mistakes so that his creations were as he wanted them, just his little handy man over all. This gradually slipped when Habbitrale began using his brain power to think of the negative..for example, why he was slave to someone dumber than he was. Habbitrale secretly created his own race, designed for serving him completely. Habbitrale was still in Jumba's control though, and one day finally snapped and tried to get rid of him once and for all. He failed, being caught by Pleakley and Spearmint who walked in as it was going on. He knocked them out, tieing them up inside of the ship where he revealed all of his plans and hate. He was leaving with them in the ship when Stitch noticed what was going on (I know that sounds stupid, but it's a twist. There's a path he always takes over the vents in the ship to spy on their conversations through out the story) and ended up flying his hover craft along side them. He broke Spearmint free and the ship ended up crashing into a volcano destroying his hovercraft and busting the wing of the ship. Spearmint finally found her power to fly. Stitch helped her to glide over the ship and find Jumba and Pleakley, freeing them and leading the down the mountain. Habbitrale was just about to make his escape when Stitch captured him after climbing up the mountain, which would have taken longer than they had to free Jumba and Pleakley...

So Habbitrale ends up being arrested by the galactic federation. A trial, much like seen in the first movie, begins when Habbitrale is given a bargain. He is to tell what has been happening at Jumba's lab now or be sentenced to death rather than life in prison. He completely lies and twists the story, but they have no choice but to take his word. Gantu states that he can't be completely trusted and that they should send a spy...so they do. I don't have a name for him, but he disguises as an Earth scientist, but ends up falling for Lita. Lita, on the other hand, is actually considered illegal because on Turo, it's considered creation for personal gain, which is putting the other therapists out of money, kinda like burning CDs. Spearmint finds out and ends up turning him in to the family. Everyone pretty much shuns him and spends time worrying about each other and being all sad...but he's a nice guy and ends up not turning them in, saying that the truth was completely twisted and that everything's normal as can be...then, knowing he can't go back in fear of being found out of lying about it, he joins the ohana.

This is the, sadly, only complete story I have..I promise, I'm working on the other ones. Luckily, this is the one about Stitch/Spearmint!
It's not rewritten though..I do have a few chapters revised, but this is the unedited version. I'll update when I finish the entire thing.

Now you probably didn't read all of that..but hoping you did, here's a complete bio over her.

Experiment G42, Turian
The combination Jumba gives his experiments, like 626, are assembled by the experiments genetic makeup, according to his computer.

Given Name: Spearmint, given to her by Stitch because of her love for the spearmint flavored ice cream

Background: Experiment G42 is the direct upgrade of Experiment 626. When removing his molecular glitch, Jumba had attempted to keep a storage of Stitch's DNA in case his system broke down because of the new programming. His machine took the DNA and gave him the new life form, which was not expected, and because of the original machines purpose (to upgrade the molecules) G42 was an upgraded form of Stitch.

To put it in the best context, Jumba says this to Stitch upon her creation:
"The reason she was created was because, well, I messed up. I wanted to have a copy of your molecules ready in case the glitch returned. So, I cloned you. Why is she female? I had forgotten to recharge the battery, dust collected, you know. Accidents happen. So, some of you was doubled. Your XY chromosome, the first gene doubled, and turned her into XX. It seems your fur doubled quite a bit too.. She has your knowledge of the world thus far, but no memories of her own. That is why your personalities will differ."

Powers: Spearmint is in no way more powerful than Stitch is. Because of the different pasts and personalities, Stitch has more will power than she does. She's also a little more timid about the things she does and is not completely confident in her abilities, making her more hesitent to use her powers. She does sink in water, but doesn't pick things up as well as Stitch can. The most she could ever harness is someone like Jumba, unless extremely motivated.

When Jumba created Spearmint, she did not have a number or anything related. She was just simply there. She just existed. When she overthrew her own her own system, he realized that she wasn't strong enough to fend for herself and could easily die. Anything and everything that controlled her was will power. She doubted herself until the last minute, and when she finally believed in herself, she destroyed herself. So when he rebuilt her, he made sure he gave her a new design. Though she doesn't look it automatically, if she wants to, she has retractable antennas and wings that go underneath her arms, much like a bats. The material is very very light and almost transparent, you can see her body through it. When she pulls it out, it falls from underneath her armpits. It's also very stretchy like elastic, so it's easy to fly. The hard thing is that because it's so light, she can't take flight on her own. With the help of Stitch, she can glide by pulling the wings over her back. He takes her and throws her like a football and she rides into the wind.

Sight: Spearmint's sight is decent in comparison to Stitch's. She can see things up close better than most people can and spots differences or things out of place easily because of her photographic memory, but she can't see from far away as well as Stitch can. She’s more observant, but things too far away make her dizzy to focus on.

Hearing: Spearmint is good at picking up sounds from far away, but can't tell where they're coming from. If the phone was to ring in the other side of the house, she'd hear it, but spend longer than it'd ring searching for it. She might hear it from the left when it's coming from the right, or go into the wrong room certain it was there.

Love Interest: Spearmint, after a few weeks, found herself becoming infatuated with Stitch. They never came out and admitted it to each other, but the instinct of their species that they both shared seemed to bring both of them to knowing that the romance was not one sided. Stitch gave her the motivation to live when the glitch was coming in on her. Reproducing, according to Jumba, is out of the question and impossible. The way that Stitch and Spearmint's mind progress give them no instincts to mate, as Stitch was only one of a kind species, also a prototype for his kind. They have no problem being affectionate now, as it is not awkward for Turian (the word I use to describe Stitch's species).

Other Relationships: She is a very close friend of Pleakley, but they continue to bug and annoy each other when they spend time together. It's almost odd to call it a 'friendship' but secretly they do find the other person to be their best friend. She's also friends with Lilo and Jumba, but hasn't really gotten the chance to know Nani. After her creation, she becomes good friends with Lita, but remains to be anxious around Mark for his intimidating appearance.

Random facts:
-People who think she resembles a rabbit are right. She was modeled after them.
-Her colors have kind of changed over time. She started light blue and ended up a light greyish-green.
-She hates loud noises, but mostly thunderstorms.
-Her original name was Button before I decided that Button/Stitch sounded kinda weird.
-She was created three days before my birthday!
-She has a little bit of a lisp that's hidden in her odd voice.
-She'd like to hula..if she could. She's a horrible dancer.
-She annoys everyone buy playing Along Comes Mary upstairs..all day long.

And now for a selection of pictures of the couple that I like.
